omaha beach

I ticked off something from my bucket list: setting foot on the scene of the D-Day Landings in the coast of Normandy. Call me a geek, but when I walked along all those white crosses at the American cemetery, I was moved. I can’t really wrap my mind around what it all was.

And before driving back home, I had an hamburger and a coke in Omaha Beach. For the heck of it.

  1. You would probably also like all the heritage stuff there is on the English south coast about the exciting build up to the forces leaving for D-Day. What a great story
