Every waking hour not occupied with work and blessed with some sunshine and above 25ºC temperatures gets us back on track ooooonnn
The Great Belgium Outdoors Swimming Tour!!
After meatmarket Rotselaar, toxic Lommel, a couple of goes at the coastal deception (which pushed us to the Dutch beaches), the deep Ardennes and not mustering enough courage/despair to have a go in the Dijle, the last excursion took us to the provinciedomein at Diest. Because there’s no better place to hang out during wasp season than amid people with a penchant for the liberal use of soda cans and bags of chips!
Got myself a sting as a souvenir.
Still, not bad for the under 50km radius.
– It’s gonna be really warm this sunday…
– We should go swimming somewhere.

And then there was Belgian weather: the only thing in the world to get me excited about having to endure a heat wave in Portugal.
Above 30 and sunny! *SQUEEAAAL*
